This tour will take you to the south bank of the Grand Canal where students, artists and locals, live, to experience the real Venice, out of the usual tourist areas. Through amazing buildings, weird stories and hidden spots, you’ll get a taste of how real Venetian life is!
It is hard to give you a list of buildings and areas you will visit during this tour because our guides have projected different unconventional paths in order for you to live the thrill of the adventure. You may come across the magnificent Frari church, with its gothic architecture and its elegant style or visit the quite area of Santa Croce district with its silent streets and the local taste of its beautiful Campi, just like the lovely Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio. You may admire the beauty of Scuola Grande San Rocco with its incredible Tintoretto paintings or hear the rather curious story of the bridge of tits. It will be a journey at the discovery of unconventional, unexpected Venice.
