By the way… what do you know about Murano island? Do you know that they had their own currency? Did you know that in the 18th century Murano island was famous for its nightlife?

We already know that you would like to discover the real Venice, but what if we would give you a possibility to see and touch a part of the history of the antique art of glass production?

With us you can do it visiting one of the old Murano furnaces jumping the queue.

This tour is not open to everybody. We propose this tour only to special people that have decided to visit a different Venice guided by the volunteers of Venice Free Walking Tour Team. If you would like to step up, we would recommend you this tour.

For organizational reasons a contribution of 10€ per person is requested (kids under 12 are free). Min. number of participants is 2.If you are a single traveller, please contact us by email and we will try to find a suitable solution for you.

Please kindly note that Murano is an island and you will need a public transportation service tickets to get there. The meeting point is at the vaporetto stop Fondamente Nuove at 14.00 and the tour will last about two hours.
