From Venice Marco Polo Airport
By bus – Venice airport is connected to Piazzale Roma Bus Station by scheduled bus services operated by ACTV and ATVO. ACTV line 5 connects the airport to Piazzale Roma in approximately 25 minutes; tickets cost € 6 for a single journey or € 11 for a return trip. You may also opt to purchase a combined 90-minute bus + vaporetto boat ticket for € 12. For more information and detailed timetable please visit the ACTV website. ATVO Express Service will take you to Piazzale Roma in just 20 minutes; tickets cost €6 for a single journey or € 11 for a return trip (return tickets must be used within 7 days of purchase). ACTV/ATVO tickets can be purchased at the ticket office in the arrivals lounge or the ticket machines in the baggage claim area and at the bus stops. ATVO tickets may also be purchased on board or online.
At piazzale Roma you can take the vaporetto (7,5 euro each) to reach the stop near your stay.
Otherwise much more simple to take one of the services below.
By water bus – Connection via sea from the airport to San Marco / San Zaccaria is provided by Alilaguna BLUE, ORANGE and RED (via Murano) lines. A detailed timetable can be downloaded from the Alilaguna website. Tickets cost € 15 for a single journey and € 27 for a return trip and are on sale from the Alilaguna Stand in the arrivals lounge, at the ticket machines in the baggage claim area, at the ticket office at the dock and on board the water bus.
